PERFECT holiday fun for families is coming to The Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham this summer with two shows, guaranteed to get children away from the TV.

The Gruffalo (July 19-23) and Horrible Histories Live On Stage! Best of Barmy Britain (August 5 and 6) will provide great family entertainment and we have got five pairs of tickets to give away to each show.

The Gruffalo is presented by Tall Stories and is magical, musical adaptation of the classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.

Join Mouse on a daring adventure through the deep, dark wood. Searching for hazelnuts, Mouse meets the cunning Fox, the eccentric old Owl and the party mad Snake.

Will the story of the terrifying Gruffalo save Mouse from ending up as dinner for these hungry woodland creatures? After all, there’s no such thing as a Gruffalo – is there?

Songs, laughs and scary fun for children aged three and up and their grown-ups, in the much-loved show that’s toured Britain and the world.

In August Horrible Histories Live On Stage! Best of Barmy Britain arrives at The Everyman.

We all want to meet people from history.

The trouble is everyone is dead! So it’s time to prepare yourselves for this special one hour production of Horrible Histories Live On Stage!

Could you beat battling Boudicca? Will you lose your heart or your head to Henry VIII? Can Parliament survive gunpowder Guy?

Would you stand and deliver to dastardly Dick Turpin? Escape the clutches of Burke and Hare and move to the groove with party Queen Victoria.

Don’t miss this horrible history of Britain with the nasty bits left in.
