GLOUCESTERSHIRE-based songwriter and musician Henry Bateman is performing in Lechlade on Thursday, June 22 as part of a six date UK tour.

His style has been influenced by a range of original guitarists/singer/songwriters ranging from Michael Hedges to Peter Gabriel, Randy Newman and James Taylor. He is now regularly performing as a six-piece band.

Autumn 2017 will see the launch of Henry’s second full length album, and the fruition of several collaborative writing projects.

He will be performing alongside fellow songwriter and musician Bob Heath. Heath is a songwriter, musician, singer, and music therapist from Swindon who has been writing songs and working in music for many years.

Henry said: “Bob and I have been trying to organise a gig together for ages. He’s one of my biggest influences as a songwriter so it’s exciting for me to be doing this performance together. It’ll be an evening of us performing some of our songs, joining in on each other’s, and just generally having a good time.

"I’ll also be joined by Lewis Downs who’ll be adding guitar, mandolin, and backing vocals to my set.”

Henry, who comes from Fairford, is currently studying at the acclaimed Leeds College of Music.
