THE Moore Moss Rutter trio are to perform on Saturday, June 10 at the Prema Arts Centre in Uley.
By reworking traditional English tunes; they aim to breathe life back into ancient material.
Between them, the three artists possess a world of talent and experience.
Tom Moore has been learning to play the violin by ear since the age of four. He has done deputy playing for a range of prominent artists, including Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Alex Heffes for BBC films.
He is joined by Archie Churchill-Moss, who is one of England’s best melodeon players, having been tutored by top performers in his field. While the self-taught Jack Rutter is a respected guitarist and multi-instrumentalist, known for his highly-rhythmic tune backing.
They take the stage at 8pm. Tickets cost £12 with £9 concession in advance, or £15 on the door.
