AT THE beginning of the year, 24-year old local singer songwriter Hattie Briggs announced her “12 Months of Madness” project - a series of limited edition CD’s being released one a month all through 2017.

May’s CD is an EP of brand new original songs called “Hide” and unlike the first three months of the year it is not a limited edition and will be made available online as well as at gigs.

The first of these launch gigs for ‘Hide’ is in Stroud on Friday, May 19 at vintage outfitters Duffle, next to SVA who will be on bar duty that night.

Hattie will be playing as a trio with band members Jasmine Scott Neale (cello, guitar and backing vocals) and Matt Park (pedal steel, electric guitar).

As well as Matt and Jasmine, the EP “Hide” also features local musicians Rob Pemberton on drums and Lachlan McLellan both of Low Chimes.

Hattie recently returned from her third tour of Holland and is currently on tour all round the UK. Other May gigs including her London launch of “Hide” at the Winemakers Club in Farringdon, York and Hindhead are already sold out so snap up your tickets for Stroud while you can.

  • Doors open at 7.30 pm.

Tickets are on sale at Duffle itself and online via Hattie’s website, hattiebriggs.co.uk/current-gigs - £12 in advance, £14 on the door.
