THE Corinium Players Guitar Ensemble will support classical guitar duo, the Katona Twins at the Sundial Theatre in Cirencester on Saturday, April 29 at 7.30pm.
The Katona Twins have given recitals in major concert venues throughout the world including the Carnegie Hall and the Wigmore Hall.
The critically acclaimed guitar duo, Peter and Zoltan Katona, effortlessly transfer from strictly classical, into more popular musical genres.
The wide repertoire of the duo spans from Bach, Piazzolla’s tango music to their own arrangements of pop classics.
They will be supported by the Corinium Guitar Players Ensemble, a group of over 50, talented and successful, classical guitarists of Primary school age upwards, based in the Cotswolds and performing classical, Spanish, Latin and popular music.
The Katona Twins will be performing Vivaldi’s concerto with the Ensemble.
