MUSIC Springs to Mind is a concert of light music organised by Nailsworth Rotary in aid of Mind, the mental health charity on Saturday, March 25 at 7pm at St George’s Church in Nailsworth.

The Minpins, Stroud Choral childrens’ choir, fresh from their world premiere at Bath Abbey will be performing children’s choruses from The Pelicantata, a production based on The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me by Roald Dahl.

They will be joined by talented young tenor James Butler who has recently performed with the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Southern Sinfonia and the Hampstead Garden Opera.

Copious Notes, the local close harmony group, will be entertaining everyone with a variety of popular pieces from pop to jazz, ensuring there is something for the whole family.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to Mind who have been working for more than 70 years to support people experiencing mental health issues and raise awareness in the community.
