Cirencester

  • MEDIEVAL manuscripts of Cirencester Abbey 900 is a rare opportunity to see manuscripts that were in the Abbey library at its Dissolution in 1539. Runs until May 21 at the Corinium Museum, free admission. For more information visit coriniummuseum.org

Stow-on-the-Wold

  • A MAJOR exhibition of prints and other works on paper by William Gear takes place at the Fosse Gallery, some of the exhibits have never been seen in public before. The gallery is open from Monday-Saturday 10.30am-5pm, exhibition runs until February 25.

Bristol

  • RUSSELL Howard at the Bristol Hippodrome. One of his generations funniest and most successful comedians tries out new material in his latest tour. Saturday, February 11
Tetbury

  • BUG-bunting half-term activity for kids at Tetbury Library. Make a colourful row of mini beasts to take home. Free, just turn up, runs until February 18.

  • ANTHONY Hammond presents a series of free lunchtime organ recitals at Cirencester Parish Church every Monday in February featuring some of his favourite pieces of organ music including works by Bach, Elgar and Liszt. Begins at 1.10pm, free entry.

  • HALF-term fun at the Corinium Museum with Gargoyle Masks family drop-in from 10-11am. Celebrate the 900th anniversary of Cirencester’s Abbey by creating masks inspired by gargoyles found in its ruins. £2 per child, suitable for ages 3+.

Northleach

  • THE OLD Prison is hosting a free rocks and fossils roadshow for kids in half-term. Learn about the rocks, fossils and dinosaurs that roamed the Cotswolds. Free drop in workshop with lots of hands on crafts and activities.

Lechlade
