FRIDAY Nights at the House in the Oldridge Bar at Kingshill House, Dursley, kicks off 2017 with a performance on Friday, January 20 by a band consisting entirely of Ukuleles, playing a surprising variety of music.
Ukulele Jam Thornbury is a group of local people of all ages who get together weekly to have lots of fun learning to play the ukulele.
They are led by local musician Dan Budd and regularly perform songs from the 1920's to 2010's in a variety of locations and events around the area.
Their latest songbook includes numbers originally performed by artists such as Fats Domino, Elvis Presley and The Beatles, right through to Coldplay.
Enjoy a home cooked supper, £8 for two courses. The bar and kitchen open at 7pm with the entertainment starting at 8pm.
