TOURING exhibition Two Make has opened at the Museum in the Park, Stratford Park, Stratford Road, Stroud.
On until February 19, Two Make plots the shared output of 10 pairs of established designer/makers who have created new work together.
The partnerships are diverse, ranging from life-long friends who live in different parts of the country, makers working together for the first time, and makers who wanted to learn new skills.
Each pair’s creative journeys are plotted by their drawings, photographs, recorded conversations, samples and maquettes and are shown in this touring exhibition as part of a wider project that explores cooperation within craft communities.
Artistic partnerships are Bella Peralta and Jenny Bicât, Matthew Tradgett and Sarah Pearson Cooke, Valerie Michael and Tim Blades, Karen Hansen and Rowan McOnegal, Susan Early and Sarah Cant, Derek Elliott and Faith Ristic, Trevor Lillistone and Su Trindle, Stephanie Kemp and Alison Dupernex, Nicholas Ozanne and Gemma Sangwine and Tess Wakeling and Kristian Pettifor.
