CIRENCESTER'S favourite diva, Maria Jagusz, is making a welcome return to the Christmas concert scene with MJ/UK.

Together with her singers, she is presenting “A Winter Wonderland” at the Bingham Hall in Cirencester on Sunday, December 18 for one night only.

The show, a seasonal extravaganza of Christmas favourites, will also feature the ladies’ choir “A Splash of Red” and the return of MJ/UK luminaries Alice Nelson, Steve Simms and Camilla Alicia Bates.

And Cirencester favourite Ben Maggs, fresh from his recent successful tour, will also be appearing.

Maria’s project for developing young talent in the Cotswolds has now been running for over 10 years.

Cirencester audiences have been entranced by a sequence of wonderful productions down the years and fortunately for her many supporters, her latest production shows that her enthusiasm and commitment to her project shows no sign of waning.

Her talent for identifying and training young singers and her directorial prowess, promises to make for a captivating evening, as the audience is led though a winter wonderland with songs celebrating the joy and significance of Christmas.

  •  Tickets are £10 and available from the Cirencester Information Centre.

There will be a retiring collection for Lizzie’s Roundabout Well Appeal, a local charity that brings water to deprived communities in southern Africa.
