ENJOY a Bach Evening at Star Anise Arts Cafe in Stroud on Friday, December 16, with cellist Benjamin Dry performing Solo Cello Suites 4 and 1.

Benjamin recently moved to the UK from South Africa where he was successful in several competitions and studied with Magdalena Roux at the Stellenbosch Conservatoire.

Further scholarships took him to America for four years' study at Interlochen Arts Academy and Oberlin Conservatory.

Returning to South Africa, Benjamin gave recitals in and around Cape Town, also studying Eurythmy and working on a family biodynamic farm.

Benjamin’s outstanding performances, often with pianist Geoffrey Poole in the Ruscombe Duo, are currently establishing his career as a performer and teacher in the UK.
