STUDENTS from Stagecoach Performing Arts Chippenham and Melksham joined talent from across the UK at the iconic Her Majesty’s Theatre in London’s West End, with songs such as ‘Boogie Wonderland’ and ‘I Will Survive.’

Her Majesty’s Theatre has famously played host to the musical Phantom of the Opera since 1986, and students from 16 Stagecoach schools across the country have stepped into the spotlight to entertain friends and family as they get a taste of West End stardom.

Stagecoach Performing Arts Chippenham and Melksham Principal, Natalie Collins says: ‘The students were incredibly excited to be going to London to perform.

No matter whether students dream of being West End stars or they dance, sing and act for fun, performances like this are a huge confidence booster and there is a great sense of camaraderie amongst the pupils.’

Stagecoach Performing Arts Chippenham and Melksham is part of a network of more than 600 part-time Theatre Arts Schools worldwide.

Early Stages classes are available for children aged 4 to 6 and Main Stages classes take place for 6 to 18 year olds.
