ADY Johnson will be visiting Gloucester Guildhall on Saturday, December 3 as part of his tour supporting Scott Matthews and his band.

Ady's 2015 EP ‘Thank You For The Good Things’ was his second solo release since he fronted Colchester rock ‘n’ roll band FuzzFace, with his debut album ‘Tell The Worry Dolls’ receiving critical praise from UK media.

The title track of the last EP ‘Thank You For The Good Things’ was chosen for Tom Robinson’s BBC Introducing Mixtape and aired on his BBC 6 Music Show.

A tribute to his late Grandfather, the track depicts Ady’s journey to music following his apprenticeship into the family business of antique furniture restoration and the emotional struggle of having to leave it behind.

Since the release of his first solo record Tell The Worry Dolls back in 2011, Ady has gigged and headlined many shows and festivals, as well as supported a wealth of artists including Ben Howard, Willy Mason, Chris Helm (The Sea Horses) and Shlomo.

Having first met Scott Matthews on the Suffolk festival scene four years ago and exchanging albums, they have since regularly shared a stage, with Scott also featuring at Ady’s Thank You For The Good Things London EP Launch last year.
