GLOUCESTERSHIRE band Binomial have announced a special concert at The Vaults in Cirencester on Saturday, November 12, celebrating the band's first five years.

The V Concert is a must for all lovers of electronic and New Romantic music, with the 80's synth-pop covers band performing electro/dance favourites including hits from The Human League, Pet Shop Boys and Soft Cell.

Binomial is a collaboration between vocalist Paul Dodson and BBC Introducing electro/dance artist ALR (aka Andy Randle).

The band are renowned for their polished performances and their original and extended arrangements of classic synth-pop.

Paul and Andy first met for an audition on Sunday, November 6 2011 and had their first performance in Cheltenham in March of the following year.

Regular spots at top live music venues have followed along with appearances at Lakefest, the Phoenix Festival, Festival on the Farm, The Cotswold Show and Brewery Blues. Binomial shows now attract capacity crowds.

Paul said: "Our anniversary show gives us the chance to dig into the Binomial archive and add to the set list current and past favourites. Andy and I have had a great time making our song selections."
