THE Russian State Ballet and Opera House is coming to Swindon’s Wyvern Theatre and Cheltenham's The Everyman this month, with performances of Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker.

Directed and choreographed by former Bolshoi Ballet Soloist, Konstantin Uralsky, and with music by Tchaikovsky these family favourite ballets will feature stunning choreography and sumptuous costumes.

Swan Lake is a compelling legend of tragic romance and is arguably one of the most loved and challenging ballets.

From the impressive splendour of the palace ballroom to the moonlit lake where swans glide in perfect formation, the perfect romantic ballet of all time, Swan Lake, has it all.

Sleeping Beauty is a spectacular fairy-tale and is the classic story of love and innocence, mystery and magic set to Tchaikovsky’s sublime score.

The Nutcracker is a Christmas classic that continues to capture the hearts and imagination of generations of theatre-goers.

It is a truly captivating piece of theatre and a wonderful introduction to ballet for anyone who has never experienced it.

This is the ultimate and beautiful fairy-tale where goodness and beauty triumph.

The shows feature an impressive cast and are accompanied by a large live orchestra with over 30 musicians.

The Russian State Ballet and Opera House has built an international reputation for delivering performances of outstanding quality, and never fails to delight audiences.
