Daglingworth

  • RURAL cinema at the village hall will be showing The Man Who Knew Infinity, (12A). Film begins at 7.30pm, bar open from 7pm, admission is £4 on the door.

Didmarton

  • DIDMARTON Bluegrass Festival, one of the UK’s premier bluegrass, Americana and old time music festivals and now in its 28th year, takes place at Cotswold Airport, GL7 6BQ. This year’s line-up includes Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley, Front Country and Assembly Line. The days feature great music while late nights are enjoyed with jam sessions around the big bonfire. The Ogri motorcycle club will be serving a range of real ciders and ales, there will be instrument, metalwork and vintage clothing stalls, lots of food, a children’s area with workshops and much more. Tickets cost £60. For more information and to book visit didmarton-bluegrass.co.uk

Cirencester

  • COME and join Classical Refection, the Corinium Players guitar ensemble and A Splash Of Red, who will be playing as part of an evening of classical music from 7.30pm at Holy Trinity Church, Watermoor.   • A COLOURFUL and exciting exhibition about printmaking begins this week at the Corinium Museum. Featuring the work of artists who have used a variety of materials, including glass, ceramics and text in books, the show highlights just how wide-ranging print techniques are. Free admission, art work for sale, runs until Sunday, September 25. Down Ampney

  • THE 30th Annual Village Show takes place this Saturday. Entries should be submitted between 9.30 am and 11 am at the Village Hall. The prize-giving will take place in the Village Hall at 3.45 pm. Villagers and their relatives are all eligible to enter.

  • MALMESBURY carnival and festival concludes with the spectacular annual procession. It’s the biggest event of the whole month with most of the town expected to turn out and you can take part or just watch.
