An enthralling tale charting the ecstasies and tragedies behind the seven white masks of centenarian clown, Scaramouche Jones, comes to the Everyman Studio this September.
On Millennium Eve ancient clown Scaramouche Jones prepares to give his final performance, one man’s odyssey through the 20th Century.
A wild adventure which surges across oceans and continents, a kaleidoscope of painful loss, comic misadventure and the bleak pit of political brutality, an epic, poetic and profoundly moving tale.
The SanaRt Theatre Company production is described as physical performance storytelling of the highest order performed by Alan Coveney and directed by Emel Yilmaz.
- Scaramouch Jones comes to the Everyman Studio in Cheltenham from Friday, September 16 to Saturday, September 17. Suitable for audiences aged 12 and above, tickets cost £10.50/concessions £9. For more information and to book visit everymantheatre.org.uk or call the box office on 01242 572573.
