A LIVE interactive comedy game show is coming to Cheltenham Town Hall on Tuesday, September 27.

Hosted by comedian and videogames commentator Steve McNeil, Wifi Wars let you play along with your own smartphone or tablet.

It’s a basic premise; the audience is split into two teams who then battle it out to win.

Two team captains are chosen randomly and the overall individual high scorer also wins a prize. Each round sees a slightly more sophisticated game.

WiFi Wars has been mentioned in Time Out (Critic’s Choice), Metro (Top Ten London Geek Nights Out), The Guardian (“Not to Be Missed”) and on BBC Radio 4 Extra.

They have also had their own stage at Eurogamer’s EGX; welcoming over 80,000 people to the event over its four day run at Earls’ Court and appeared at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Regardless of whether you are an Atari aficionado, Pac-Man pro, Candy Crush champion or a total novice, this retro gaming experience is an inclusive, highly addictive group activity, proving that gaming is for everybody.

It’s an unmissable night out that promises excitement, fun and games galore.
