A MUSICAL spectacle tribute to the legendary Glenn Miller will be coming to the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham from Tuesday, October 4 to Saturday, October 8.

The Glenn Miller Story starring Tommy Steele marks the 70th year the star mysteriously vanished over the English Channel as he flew to Paris during the Second World War.

His story is brought to the stage in this brand new musical celebrating the lift and fame of America's most famous big band leader.

Featuing a 16 piece orchestra, a full supporting company of performers and dazzling choreography, the story of one of the most iconic musical figures of the 20th century will be told as never before.

Music legend Tommy Steele was britain’s first rock ‘n’ roll star and was dubbed the UK’s answer to Elvis Presley, landing his first UK number one with Singing the Blues in January 1957.

The Glenn Miller Story promises to transport audiences young and old back to the good old days of the Big Band era, featuring such legendary hits as In The Mood, The Very Thought of You, Moonlight Serenade, Tuxedo Junction, Chattanooga Choo Choo and many more.
