LOCAL author Penny Parkes’ launch party for her debut novel Out of Practice at Waterstones Bookshop in Cirencester last week was a great success.
The author, who lives in Rendcomb, was joined by family, friends, local authors and members of the public to support her.
She read from the book, published by Simon & Schuster UK, and answered questions from the audience, signed endless books and entertained local readers.
Out of Practice is set in a doctor’s practice in the Cotswolds, which proves to be a hotbed of rivalry, resentment and romance.
