THERE will be two Stroud Short Stories (SSS) events this autumn.
The first is a special one-off event at Cheltenham Literature Festival on Monday, October 10 from 9-10pm, to celebrate five years of SSS.
Called Stroud Short Stories' Greatest Hits it will feature six or seven favourite stories from those performed by their authors at the dozen SSS events from its beginnings in 2011 to April this year.
This event will be in the Cheltenham LitFest programme and tickets will be available from the LitFest.
The second will be the usual SSS event at Stroud Valleys Artspace in John Street, Stroud at 8pm on Sunday, November 20, the last day of the first Stroud Book Festival.
They will choose 10 stories to be read by their authors from those submitted (open theme).
It is free to submit and submissions close on September 1.
Maximum 1,500 words and up to two stories per Glos/South Glos author.
