MALMESBURY carnival and festival is coming to town next month with a packed programme of daily events.
The carnival begins on Thursday, August 4 with the first of the Athelstan Players’ performances which promises to be an evening of sketches, dances and songs.
Throughout the month long event there will also be lots of theatre and music, comedy nights, historical walks and talks, an open garden day, belly dancing performance, a Blondie and Ska tribute, a story-telling workshop with award winning author Elen Caldicot, poetry evening, carnival quiz night, jazz at Avon House, Petticoat Lane market, a fun fair and finally a carnival procession on Saturday, September 3.
There is something for everyone and fun for all the family.
