A LAUNCH party is being held on Thursday, July 28 at Waterstone's bookshop in Cirencester for the new book, Out of Practice, by local author Penny Parkes.
Publishers Simon & Schuster UK describe Out of Practice as their most hotly anticipated novel of the summer.
Penny, who lives with her family in Rendcomb, has penned a charming debut novel set in a doctor’s practice in the Cotswolds, which proves to be a hotbed of rivalry, resentment and romance.
This is James Herriot meets House, and has already been much loved by the likes of Katie Fforde, Jo Thomas and Julie Cohen.
Penny will be in conversation with journalist Caroline Sanderson from The Bookseller at 7pm in Waterstones Cirencester.
