TWO gifted musicians will give a recital of eighteenth music for flute and harpsichord on Saturday, June 25 at Daglingworth Church.
Flautist Helen Crown, who made her debut at the Wigmore Hall and has played at many festivals in the UK, Australia, the USA and France, will be joined by locally based David Ponsford on the harpsichord.
Following study at Cambridge, David's first post was as assistant organist at Wells Cathedral.
He is currently associate lecturer at Cardiff University, and he owns a collection of harpsichords.
The programme will include works by Weidemann, Arne and Scarlatti, and there will be drinks and nibbles in the interval.
- Tickets are still available from Susan Bishop on 01285 655991.
