A CHANCE has arisen to tread the boards at the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham alongside professional actors in a brand new adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Tale of Two Cities.
The Touring Consortium is looking for 12 local actors, six men & six women, to join the professional cast and play the ensemble roles in this production. There is also the role of a “small boy” in the first act.
The Touring Consortium is one of the UK’s leading large-scale touring theatre companies and this bold version of one of Britain’s best-loved novels set during the French revolution, is an epic tale of love, sacrifice and redemption amidst horrific violence and world changing events.
There will be rehearsals ahead of the company arriving at the theatre, plus a full company rehearsal before the performances from Tuesday, November 15 to Saturday, November 19 with seven shows in total.
Auditions will be held in the Studio Theatre at the Everyman on Wednesday, June 29 at 5pm and successful applicants need to be able to make all the rehearsals and be available for all the shows. This will be a voluntary role, for further information and to apply, email janice@touringconsortium.com.
