MORE acts have been added to the line up of this year’s Cornbury music festival in Chipping Norton.

Queen of British Soul Beverley Knight will be this year’s special guest performing with Cornbury house band Staxs, she will take to the stage at Great Tew on Sunday, July 10.

Nashville Country star, Stella Parton, Dolly’s younger sister, will be making a rare appearance on this side of the Atlantic on Friday, July 8 July along with young Scottish singer songwriter Kerri Watt.

Twin brothers Jack & Pat Pierce from Australia will be this year’s special newcomers.

They have rapidly moved from busking on the streets of Melbourne to impressing festival audiences across the world, they will be on the main stage on July 10.

Stella Parton and Kerri Watt share Friday’s bill with the UK’s greatest jazzer Jamie Cullum, 80’s acid jazz pioneers Soul II Soul, R&B troubadour Lemar and rock ‘n’ roll survivor Wilko Johnson.

All Saints, Corinne Bailey Rae and Booker T head the Saturday bill which istopped by Bryan Ferry, Gabrielle Aplin, Lucinda Williams and Turin Brakes.

The Pierce Brothers will share Sunday’s stages with headliner Seal, The Shires, James Morrison and Newton Faulkner.

Staxs return to their regular Sunday slot, with special guest Beverly Knight, along with Noah & The Whale guitarist Fred Abbott with his new band and probably the best party band in the world, Bjorn Again.
