BILLY Elliot has been entertaining theatre-goers on both Broadway and in London’s West End for over a decade, and now Cirencester audiences have the chance to see the musical when it is performed at the Sundial Theatre next week.
Cirencester College Performing Arts students have taken on the challenge of this popular show, under the direction of performing arts lecturer Kelly Domaille.
Kelly said: "The challenges of such an iconic show for an amateur production are immense, but in the spirit of Cirencester college 'making your aspirations a reality' we have bravely embarked on this.
"We hope the combined effort of the whole creative team as well as the enthusiasm and dedication shown by this year’s cast has (we hope) enabled us to overcome these."
She added: "Come and watch this heart-warming story of camaraderie, family and community values and support, seen through the medium of dance."
