BEN Maggs returns to his native Cotswolds for the first time in over a year, with a headlining set at Cirencester's Brewery Blues at the Kings Head Cellar Lounge on Friday, May 13.

Following his last appearance at Brewery Blues in February 2015, Ben has embarked on a whirlwind musical adventure in collaboration with some of the biggest names in the British music industry.

Ben has been wowing audiences far and wide as a special guest on The Christians recent nationwide tour and he’s been asked to support the chart-topping Proclaimers at sell out dates this summer.

He also launched his new album ‘Come as You Are’ to extensive critical acclaim.

Sell-out headline shows at The Stables, Milton Keynes and The Convent have already kicked off his UK Tour which is gathering both momentum and rave reviews aplenty from the music press and participating venues.

Now he’s back in his home town of Cirencester to begin the third leg of the album launch tour at Brewery Blues, the place where it all began for him five years ago.

Ben said: “Since that first show at the Brewery the wonderful people of Cirencester and the fabulous team at Brewery Blues have supported me and my music and I couldn’t be more grateful. Playing to my home crowd is something extra special. I can’t wait to be back.”

Also playing on Friday. May 13 are Pneuma and Emi McDade.

Pneuma are a soul funk sonic powerhouse from Leeds, with influences from bands such as Snarky Puppy and Rudimental in combination with artists such as Kirk Franklin, Erykah Badu, and Robert Glasper.

Emi McDade is a prime example of the rich vein of young talent that the West Country is currently unearthing.

This exceptional 18-year-old’s was voted Gloucestershire Solo Artist of the Year 2014.

This young indie/folk singer-songwriter has performed at BBC Introducing, Ronnie Scott's, Gloucester’s Guildhall, and headlined the Acoustic Stage of ‘Dot to Dot Festival’.

She has supported artists such as JP Cooper, Fiona Bevan, Red Hot Chilli Pipers, Kal Lavelle and Toyah Willcox.
