CHELTENHAM film makers Pinpoint Films are screening their feature film Shopping Channels, made on a budget of just £5 at Gloucester Guildhall on Saturday, March 19.
As part of the Guildhall's Filmmaker Forum series, Pinpoint Films will also take part in a Q&A session in which they will share their top tips on how they made a film in Gloucestershire for a fiver.
Shopping Channels is directed by Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou, written by George Miles and features Jamie Satterthwaite, Sara Jewell and Richard Summers-Calvert.
Mike and Pete are dysfunctional friends and housemates. In the aftermath of a house party they happen upon Maddie, still asleep on the sofa.
When Mike offers to drive Maddie to the other end of the country so she can attend her mother’s wedding, they find themselves on a road-trip that celebrates the joy of discovering somebody new and all the pointless conversations it entails.
Whether you’re an aspiring filmmaker or just love watching films, this is a chance to come along and be a part of your local filmmaking scene.
