THE Bacon Theatre in Cheltenham has announced its line-up from January to June with something for everyone from live music to event cinema, dance and drama.

The spring season at the theatre brings Money For Nothing, a tribute act for Dire Straits rock enthusiasts and Cavern Club favourites, The Mersey Beatles. Voodoo Room will deliver a high-energy gig celebrating Cream and Hendrix numbers.

National Theatre Live and RSC Live broadcasts continue with NT live: Les Liaison Dangereuse screened directly from London’s Donmar Warehouse. Shakespeare’s As You Like It, will be broadcast from the National Theatre and Shakespeare’s tragedy, Hamlet, will be screened via the Royal Shakespeare Company at Stratford.

For families, the Cheltenham venue promises an acrobatic and entertaining stage show, The Party performed by Nearly There Yet.

Vienna Festival Ballet return with a classic rendition of Swan Lake and Blunderbus also return with The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark.

Family fun family film Big Hero 6 comes to the Bacon screen together with a free craft workshop in conjunction with Art Playground.

Finally, the spring film season kicks off with moving onscreen performances by Carey Mulligan and Helen Mirren in Far from the Madding Crowd and Woman in Gold.
