PUTTING their own spin on the classic Cinderella story, the Everyman Theatre’s 2015 pantomime wowed audiences both young and old.

This is a talented cast, with William Elliott returning to the Everyman for the ninth time, as Cinderella’s mother and Wendy Abrahams and Kerry Whiteside, revelling in playing evil step-sisters, Romoana and Covonia, who draw loud boos from the audience with every appearance.

The star of the show was Tweedy the Clown, as Buttons. His one-liners had both the audience, and at times, his fellow cast members in hysterics, while his second half stunts, with William Elliot, were enthralling to watch.

Mixing traditional pantomime with more contemporary elements, including references to TOWIE and a family friendly rendition of Bruno Mars’ Uptown Funk, the cast had the audience both shouting and singing along.

Full of laughter and romance, Cinderella at Cheltenham’s Everyman Theatre, fills audiences with Christmas spirit and is a great evening of entertainment.
