TAKE Part in a Wool Weaving Course for Beginners at The Old Prison, Northleach, on Saturday, November 28 from 10am-4pm.

The course which is a new offering on the Rural Skills Programme will teach attendees a range of practical skills relating to the traditional craft of wool weaving, including weave structures and how to use different types of loom.

Weaving has long been a part of the history of the Cotswolds, with 1000 hand-loom weavers recorded working around Gloucestershire in 1840.

Refreshments will be served on arrival and mid-afternoon while Lunch can be purchased from the onsite café.
