The Old Post Office at Oakridge Lych by John Bailey
AN EXHIBITION of paintings and pottery by John Bailey called Wonderful Watercolour is coming to Oakridge Lynch from Saturday, November 28.
Artist John explained: “Whether it is the colours of the flora and fauna of Bali in Indonesia, or the harvest fields and autumn colours of the Cotswolds, watercolour enables me to capture the moment and the beauty of the world we live in.”
Even in John’s pottery, the natural minerals like cobalt and copper add vivid and varied colours to the pots and glazes on display.
The exhibition gives the visitor the opportunity to share John’s love of life and the natural world, while also helping to raise money for Cancer Research.
