SATURDAY, November 21 sees the launch of the inaugural Cotswolds Pop up Art Show for one day only at Church Barn, Guiting Power.
The show is in aid of charity Kate’s Home Nursing, a vital resource in the Cotswolds providing Hospice at Home care.
An interesting selection of artists, sculptors and ceramicists have been selected to showcase their work in the historic setting of Church Barn in Guiting Power.
There is a diversity of talent from well- known names such as Ni Fiddian-Green, Michael Cooper, Sara Lee Roberts, Lincoln Seligman and Margaret Lovell to some excellent pieces by rising talent, both local and from further afield.
A great coup for the exhibition are four framed drawings by Charlotte Johnson Wahl, mother to Mayor of London, Boris Johnson.
Her recent retrospective at the Mall Galleries in London attracted huge crowds and was universally acclaimed.
The barn next to the church in Guiting Power is never normally open to the public and provides a striking backdrop for this exhibition.
Work is available to buy and prices range from £75 to £10,000.
- The Cotswolds Pop Up Art Show is on Saturday, November 21 from 10am-4.30pm at Church Barn, Guiting Power, GL54 5TX. Visit cotswoldsartshow.com for further information and for the up to date list.
