GET ready to rock as Tom Robinson + Band visit The Convent in Stroud on Monday, October 26 as part of their 15 date Mighty Sword of Justice Tour.

The group, which had huge success in the 1970s with hits including Glad to be Gay, and 2-4-6-8 Motorway, returns to the stage alongside special guests Kitten Pyramid.

Alongside the groups festival appearance’s Tom has been working on his first album in 20 years, due for release on October 16.

Entitled ‘Only the Now’ it was inspired by music featured on Tom’s 6 music show and features guest vocals by Billy Bragg, Lee Forsyth Griffiths and Sir Ian Mckellen and many others.

The band line-up for the tour includes Faithless drummer Andy Treacey, producer/multi-instrumentalist Gerry Diver, guest vocalist and guitarist Lee Forsyth Griffiths as well as session guitarist Adam Phillips, who has worked with Cher and Rod Stewart.

Joining Tom Robinson + Band on the tour are expandable five to 15 piece British Prog Pop Band, Kitten Pyramid who have earned widespread critical acclaim for their debut album ‘Uh-Oh’.
