FORMER members of the legendary band The Kinks have regrouped as The Kast Off Kinks for an evening of rock nostalgia at The Bacon Theatre in Cheltenham on Friday, November 13.

The impressive line-up features Mick Avory (original drummer on all the classic hits from 1964 - 1984), John Dalton (bass/vocals, Kinks 60’s - 70’s), Ian Gibbons (keyboards/vocals, Kinks 80’s - 90’s), plus Dave Clarke (guitar/vocals).

The Kinks first hit, You Really Got Me, in 1964, broke new ground and they continued to be influential on the rock and roll scene for several years.

They continued as a recording and gigging band until 1996, having conquered the British and American charts.

The Kast off Kinks formed in the mid-1990s to play great music and to re-live the good times and they have continued to perform to audiences with all their major hits.

Ready to take you on a journey back through the 70s and 80s and back to the mid-1960s where it all began, you can expect all the hits, including: You Really Got Me, Dedicated Follower of Fashion, Sunny Afternoon, Lola, Days, Waterloo Sunset, Come Dancing, and many more.

Speaking for the Bacon Theatre, Jess Waterman said: “The Kast off Kinks have received fantastic reviews and, with decades of gigging experience, they are sure to rock the house.

“We are thrilled to be hosting so many rock legends on the Bacon stage and look forward to greeting fans both old and new.”
