NEW show, Deeply Felt, at The Corinium Museum in Cirencester is showcasing the work of Sarah Brooker (hand rolled felt wall hangings and framed pieces) and Celestino Valenti (hand tied wire sculpture).
Sarah has created work with water as the theme. She explained: “The felt making process seemed to lend itself to exploring the stunningly varied colours of beaches and oceans we have visited over 10 years.”
Celestino has created seven wire shell sculptures to compliment the theme - linear enameled works against the turquoises of the textiles.
Both artists have worked together for over 14 years, with 12 of those at New Brewery Arts in Cirencester.
Two years ago they took studios at Hallidays Mill in Chalford.
- Deeply Felt is at the Corinium Museum, Park Street, Cirencester until October 11.
