AFTER a sell-out critically acclaimed West End run in 2014, Sally Cookson’s Olivier Award nominated production of Hetty Feather comes to the Wyvern stage in Swindon this month for one big, thrilling adventure that will capture the hearts of children and adults alike.

Join Hetty on her escape from the Foundling Hospital and tremble as she faces Matron Stinking Bottomly.

Watch as she discovers the squirrel house and Tanglefields Travelling Circus.

From best-selling author Jacqueline Wilson, the tale of plucky Hetty Feather is brought to life on stage by award winning script writer Emma Reeves (cBBc’s The Story of Tracy Beaker) and the Olivier Award Nominated director Sally Cookson.

With an original musical score by Benji Bower, brilliant circus skills and a huge heart, Hetty Feather is a terrific adventure story and the perfect treat for the whole family.

Jacqueline Wilson has said of the production: “I am so thrilled that Hetty Feather has become a stage play! I’ve written exactly one hundred books but Hetty Feather is my number one favourite character and I’m delighted that she will be back on stage again.

“The team behind the production have done a magnificent job bringing the book to life and I’m so pleased that the forthcoming tour will allow even more people to see this wonderful show.”

  • Hetty Feather will be at the Wyvern Theatre from Wednesday, September 23 until Sunday, September 27.
