THE Northleach Steam and Vintage Show takes place on Saturday, September 12 (10am till 5pm), and Sunday, September 13 (10am till 4pm).
Featuring full size and scale steam engines, stationary engines, vintage tractors, vintage military and commercial vehicles, vintage motorcycles, classic cars, as well as a real ale festival with live music, the weekend show promises to be an entertaining event.
There will be a plethora of stalls, including food and drink and vintage merchandise.
The organisers have worked hard to create a fantastic day out and proceeds go to local charities, as well as funding next year’s event.
Spectators are given demonstrations of the steam engines, as well as vintage machines stretching back to the 1970s.
While attracting nostalgic veterans and life-long enthusiasts, the Northleach Steam and Vintage Show is also aimed at the children investing an interest that they may pass down to their future offspring.
It’s deemed vitally important by the organisers that the next generation attend in their droves, which is why children under the age of 16 aren’t required to pay an entry fee.
- Northleach Steam and Vintage Show is at Eastington Road, Northleach, Gloucestershire, GL54 3PJ. Adults £5, senior citizens £3, children under 16 free. Dog welcome on a lead. Go to northleachsteamshow.co.uk for more.
