HIT West End musical Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is arriving at The Bristol Hippodrome in October, as part of a nationwide tour.

The musical, based on the iconic 1988 film, stars Michael Praed, Noel Sullivan, Carley Stenson and Gary Wilmot.

Prepare to be transported to the French Riviera where the decadent world of sophisticated conman Lawerence Jameson is set to come crashing down with the arrival of larger-than-life Freddy Benson, a conman of an entirely different order.

Realising the town ain’t big enough for the both of them, the two find themselves going head to head in the con of their lives, pulling out all the stops in a bid for the affections of millionaire soap heiress Christine Colgate. Little do they know what they’ve let themselves in for?

Michale Praed is best known for his TV roles, with credits including Robin of Sherwood and Dynasty. His theatre credits include Captain Von Trapp in the national tour of The Sound of Music and Tony in Copacabana.

Noel Sullivan, a member of the British pop group Hear’Say has appeared in several hit West End shows including Rock of Ages, Priscilla Queen of the Desert and We Will Rock You.

Carley Stenson is best known to audiences for her role as Steph in Hollyoaks and her recent theatre credits include Spamalot, Shrek and Legally Blonde on the West End Stage.

Gary Wilmot joins the production as Andre having originally played the role in the West End production.

He is currently appearing in the UK tour of Oklahoma and his other theatre work includes Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Oliver. He has also appeared on a TV shows including Cue Gary, Showstoppers and Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
