CIRENCESTER’S Corinium Museum has announced its autumn/winter event line-up.
In October best-selling author Ben Kane will deliver a lecture on Rome’s Greatest Defeat: Battle of Teutoburg Forest, the subject of his latest novel Eagles of War, while Corinium Cinema screens the classic To Kill a Mockingbird and continues the Rural Cinema programme.
Dr Alison Brookes will discuss the recent evacuations in Cirencester in November; including the discoveries at the former Bridges Garages site that have stunned archaeologists and the unearthing of Bodicacia’s tombstone.
Things turn Christmassy in December with a craft fair and winter show as well as screenings of It’s a Wonderful Life and White Christmas.
The family drop-in sessions will also return during both the October half-term and the Christmas holidays, to help keep the kids entertained.
