THE September line-up for the ever popular Friday Night Acoustic shows at the Kings Head Hotel, Cirencester has been announced, and the varied array of performers is sure to see the event going from strength to strength.

Indie award winner Katey Brookes will start September off on a high note, performing on Friday, September 4.

The singer is known for her powerful and evocative performances and her admirers include Joss Stone and Dermot O’Leary.

Seth Bye and Katie Griffin, a multi-instrumental folk duo from Fairford, will perform on November 11.

Blurring the edges between traditional folk and more contemporary styles, they use modern technology to create colourful soundscapes that match those of larger line-ups.

Meanwhile, Brewery Blues returns from a summer break on Friday, September 18 with a performance from the area’s premier party outfit, The Curious Little Big Band, supported by Leon Daye.

The line-up is completed by Iron & Oak on Friday, September 25. Fiddle player Sarana VerLin and guitarist Jamie Slater, combine authentic roots inspired music from both sides of Atlantic in a fusion of Folk, Americana, Roots and Blues.
