THE annual Fairford Steam Rally and Show takes place on Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23, at Quarry farm, Poulton, between Fairford and Cirencester.
There will be plenty to see, with working steam, vintage vehicle parades, steam ploughing and Shire horses.
There will be also be a full program of arena events including Reg Adams Axe Team and Ben Long`s Falconry School.
As well as the vintage vehicles you will be able to wander around the Model tent, watch the North Wiltshire Woodturners at work and see the model boats in their own pool.
The large and miniature steam engines will be in action as well as tractors, vintage commercials and classic and vintage motorbikes.
Visitors will be able to take time out to browse the trade stands and enjoy the onsite catering. With a food festival onsite, there will be plenty of opportunities to sample produce from local suppliers.
As in previous years, there will be plenty to keep the children occupied and a mini farm should ensure that all members of the family are happy.
- Open from 10am each day. Adults £10, children under 14 free. For more information and details on tickets go to fairfordsteamrally.com or telephone 01285 712587.
