SIDDINGTON Hall will be rocking on Tuesday, August 25, with a concert by The Waletones.

The group, who formed while studying at the London College of Music, take inspiration from iconic British artists The Beatles, Elvis Costello, The Kinks and ELO as well as the vocalisations of The Beach Boys and Frankie Valli.

The Waletones coined the phrase ‘Merseybeat revival’ with their unmistakable British indie-pop, partnered with a strikingly retro sixties style.

The band recently visited Deer Park School, Cirencester, as part of a nationwide tour of schools, to deliver a healthy living presentation.

The group, who all come from very different upbringings and educations, combined a performance of their own original songs as well as some well-known covers, to engage pupils in a discussion about healthy choices in life.

The presentation included information and statistics on the long term effects of alcohol, smoking and drugs and the band wants to encourage pupils to make informed decisions.

THE Waletones will perform at Siddington Hall on Tuesday, August 25, 7-10pm. An all age’s event. Tickets £6 in advance and £10 on the door; go to seetickets.com
