IF YOU'RE passionate about cooking and think you can stand the heat in the kitchen while preparing a meal for four of Britain's leading restaurant critics, then the BBC want to hear from you!
Each programme will feature two people who will cook a two-course meal for the restaurant critics. The critics will choose a winner after sampling the delights of both menus.
This lucky winner will go on the semi final to fight it out for a coveted place in the final programme and a chance to be crowned Britain's best home cook.
Each cook will plan their meal in advance and will be visited by presenter, top TV chef James Martin, who will also impart some helpful tips for the big cook off.
