THIS year The Phoenix Festival will be broadcast live and direct on Corinium Radio, Cirencester’s local community radio station.

For the first time everyone will be able to listen in live to the sounds of the Festival on Corinium Radio.

There will be live music from the Festival stages, interviews with the artists and volunteers, as well as informal chats with stall holders and Festival goers.

Cameron McGregor, 17 year-old Corinium Radio technical whiz kid, Festival volunteer and artist said: “It’s going to be lots of fun bringing you the best from the Festival.

“This is the third year that Corinium Radio has supported the Phoenix Festival but the first year to give it live coverage and just like the Festival, it’s growing all the time, thanks to a bunch of enthusiastic volunteers”.

Glen Moreman, Festival organiser said: “This is a fantastic example of the local community bringing the Phoenix, an ever growing local event, to the masses! We are very grateful to Corinium Radio for offering their time and resources to capture the Festival vibe live. It’s going to be great.”

You can listen in live online to the Phoenix Festival via your TuneIn app on your smart phone or through your PC or ipad.
