JUST two weeks to go until WOMAD takes over the Wiltshire countryside.

The festival’s ninth gathering, at Charlton Park, takes place from July 23 to 26, with a star line-up featuring De La Soul, Tinariwen, Ghostpoet, Laura Mvula, Atomic Bomb!, 47 Soul, Souad Massi and more.

Alongside the musical treats, the ever-popular Taste the World food stage will feature dishes from all around the world, while the traditional WOMAD workshops offer activities for festival goers, from the All-Singing All-Dancing Tent to World Rhythms.

If you’re in need of relaxation, The World of Wellbeing offers a range of holistic activities, or you can treat yourself to the WOMAD spa with treatments, spa pools, sauna, showers and a cocktail bar.

Artist can take up the World of Art’s invitation to use the entire festival site as a giant canvas, or enter the World of Words to join in debate and discussion. If that’s not enough to fill the day, you can shop until you drop in the Global Market or enjoy the vintage rides at Carter's Original Steam Fair.

Young visitors, meanwhile, have their very own World of Kids, with a wide-ranging programme of workshops, entertainment and activities, culminating in the Children’s Parade on Sunday afternoon.
