CRICKLADE Art Group’s summer exhibition at Cricklade Town Hall proved a hit with adults and children on Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21, attracting art lovers from all over the area.
Now in its ninth year, the exhibition held a well attended preview evening on Friday.
With 86 works of art on display, including sculpture, portraiture, landscapes, drawings and photography, there was a full spectrum of art to enjoy and purchase.
Sunday co-incided with the Cricklade Festival, which helped to improve footfall.
Art activities were laid on for children, to inspire and keep the next generation of Cricklade Art Group members occupied.
Criclade Art Group member Brenda Muir said: “The exhibition was very well attended. People come back to the exhibition year after year and visitors from many miles away come to see us. We are a group that want to get people involved in art.”
