ONE local hotel is getting into the Wimbledon mood for the remainder of the tournament.
As Andy Murray, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer take to centre court this week, the Kings Head in Cirencester are embracing Wimbledon fever.
Championing Wimbledon’s classic combination of Strawberries and Cream, the hotel is celebrating by bringing a taste of tennis tradition to The Cotswolds.
Guests will be able soak up the atmosphere and enjoy watching the matches on the big screen whilst sipping a ‘Strawberry and Cream Dream’ cocktail.
Tennis lovers can then wind down in the subterranean spa with the Strawberries and Cream body scrub treatment.
Stephen Mannock, General Manager of the Kings Head, said: “Wimbledon mania is not only taking over our television screens but our bar and spa too.
“We are rooting for 2013 Wimbledon Champion Andy Murray who is also the bookies favourite to win this year after his triumph at Queens.”
