THE thrilling sequel to Dreamboat and Petticoats – Dreamboats and Miniskirts – is coming to the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham next week.
Directed by Bill Kenwright, the story of Bobby, Laura, Norman and Sue continues, now set in 1963; a time when the world is changing, fast.
Bobby and Laura’s single Dreamboats and Petticoats has failed to take off, while Norman and Sue have settled down to non-marital bliss and a baby.
The advent of the Beatles and the Merseyside sound is inspirational, but will it inspire Bobby and Laura to have one more shot at stardom or Norman to ‘get off the drains’ and find that singing voice he has longed for?
All will be revealed in a follow up with the same wit, charm, and great songs that include the smash hits A Picture of You, All I Have To Do Is Dream, Do You Love Me, Hippy Hippy Shake and many more.
- Dreamboats and Miniskirts will be on at the Everyman Theatre from Monday, June 29, to Saturday, July 4.
- Evenings performances take place on 7.45pm, while matinees are on Thursday and Saturday at 2pm.
